On the morning of May 14, 2025, Tinh Thuong One Member Limited Liability Microfinance Institution (TYM) \u2013 Vinh Phuc Branch, Transaction Office No. 03, in collaboration with the Tam Dao District Women\u2019s Union, organized a conference to launch TYM’s operations in Tam Dao District (Vinh Phuc Province).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Attending the conference were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Vice President of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Women\u2019s Union; Mr. Hoang Duy Chinh, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 4; Ms. Pham Thi Lan Huong, Standing Committee Member and Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Tam Dao District Party Committee; Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Huong, Director of TYM Vinh Phuc Branch; and Ms. Hoang Bich Ngoc, Member of the District Party Committee and President of the Tam Dao District Women\u2019s Union. Also present were leaders of specialized departments under the provincial Women\u2019s Union, representatives of district-level political and social organizations, heads of transaction offices, staff of the TYM Vinh Phuc Branch, and presidents of VWU branches in communes and towns across the district.<\/p>\n

Tinh Thuong One Member Limited Liability Microfinance Institution (TYM) was established by the Vietnam Women\u2019s Union in 1992. In Vinh Phuc, TYM began operations in 1995 and has since expanded to six administrative areas: Phuc Yen City, Vinh Yen City, and the districts of Binh Xuyen, Yen Lac, Vinh Tuong, and Tam Duong. Currently, it serves more than 10,000 clients.<\/p>\n

TYM provides microfinance products and services, including credit, savings, capacity-building training, and community support initiatives. The launch of TYM’s operations in Tam Dao District will create opportunities for women from poor and near-poor households, low-income women, and microenterprises to access preferential credit. This will help improve incomes, enhance living standards, reduce poverty sustainably, and promote gender equality.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Vice President of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Women\u2019s Union, and Mr. Hoang Duy Chinh, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 4, recognized and highly valued the close collaboration between the Tam Dao District Women\u2019s Union and TYM\u2019s Vinh Phuc Branch in implementing activities in the locality. They emphasized that TYM\u2019s operations not only bring practical economic benefits to VWU members but also play an important role in disseminating knowledge, raising awareness, and enhancing women’s personal financial management skills. This helps women become more proactive in life and assert their roles within the family and society. To ensure the effectiveness of TYM\u2019s operations, they noted the need to invest in facilities, recruit and assign qualified and ethically sound staff, and strictly comply with financial and banking regulations.<\/p>\n

Concluding the conference, Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Huong, Director of TYM Vinh Phuc branch, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Party committees, local authorities, and all levels of the Tam Dao District Women\u2019s Union for their support in facilitating TYM\u2019s expansion. She affirmed that TYM will continue to operate in accordance with its mission and legal regulations under the supervision of the State Bank and will accompany local authorities and the Women\u2019s Union in implementing social welfare programs and contributing to local socio-economic development.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, TYM Vinh Phuc Branch presented 20 gifts to disadvantaged VWU members in the district, demonstrating the organization\u2019s spirit of sharing, social responsibility, and community support. The launch of TYM\u2019s operations in Tam Dao District is a practical step toward realizing the Party and State\u2019s policies on sustainable poverty reduction, socio-economic development, and new rural construction. It also reaffirms the vital role of women in driving household and community economic development.<\/p>\n
