On 23 and 24 April 2026, a delegation of 13 staff members and clients from the Center for Agriculture and Rural Development Mutual Benefit Institutions of the Philippines (CARD MRI) visited and joined an experiential exchange program at Tinh Thuong One-member Limited Liability Microfinance Institution (TYM). The program included working sessions at TYM Head Office and visits to outstanding client livelihood models at Soc Son Branch. This continued to provide both organizations with an opportunity to exchange practical experiences in microfinance while strengthening international connections for clients of both institutions.<\/p>\n

Mr. Nguyen Binh Hanh, Deputy General Director of TYM, welcomed the CARD MRI delegation at TYM Head Office.<\/em><\/p>\n

On the morning of 23 April, the delegation visited TYM Head Office at 20 Thuy Khue. Representing the delegation, Mr. Raffy Antes, Head of the CARD MRI delegation, shared, \u201cWe sincerely thank TYM for the warm and thoughtful hospitality extended to our delegation. This visit has brought many practical benefits. CARD MRI staff and members have gained valuable insights from TYM\u2019s operational practices and have also developed a deeper understanding of the strong partnership between our two organizations. We hope exchange programs like this will continue to be maintained and expanded in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe meeting was also attended by TYM senior leaders, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuong, Chairperson of TYM\u2019s Board of Directors, and Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh, General Director of TYM.<\/em><\/p>\n

Representatives of both organizations exchanged meaningful souvenirs as symbols of the strong bond between the two microfinance institutions. Photos capturing cultural exchange and the bright smiles of all participants not only marked an important milestone in cooperation but also set the tone for an inspiring day of activities, further strengthening the connection between TYM and its colleagues from the Philippines.<\/p>\n

As part of the visit, the CARD MRI delegation traveled to the operational area of TYM Soc Son Branch in Hanoi to visit five outstanding client livelihood models. During the field visits, delegation members not only learned about livelihood development strategies but also directly experienced production and business activities as well as local cultural identity.<\/p>\n

TYM also facilitated connections so the delegation could use food, accommodation, and shopping services provided by TYM clients, contributing to product consumption promotion and local image enhancement.<\/p>\n

The delegation visited Ms. Nguyen Thi Van\u2019s rice painting production model at Center 105 and learned how rice paintings are made. They experienced the homestay rental service operated by Ms. Dinh Thi Hanh Duyen, explored Ms. Vu Thi Thu\u2019s breakfast business at Center 18, and joined a hands-on session to prepare traditional beef noodle. The delegation also visited Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhuan\u2019s VAC farm model at Center 13 to learn about clean agriculture practices. In addition, they visited Hieu Thao Restaurant operated by Ms. Luu Thi Le Uyen at Center 15, where they were guided in making traditional Vietnamese spring rolls and enjoyed local specialty dishes.<\/p>\n

CARD MRI delegation visited Hieu Thao Restaurant operated by Ms. Luu Thi Le Uyen, a TYM client at Center 15, Soc Son Branch. They were guided in making traditional Vietnamese spring rolls and enjoyed local specialties.<\/em><\/p>\n

Building on the success of last year\u2019s program, TYM\u2019s reception activities for international delegations continue to improve, expanding beyond professional knowledge sharing to include practical experiences and support for client product consumption. Through these activities, TYM clients gain greater exposure to international environments, improve communication skills, and become more confident in introducing their products and services to international visitors.<\/p>\n

In the coming years, TYM hopes to welcome more international delegations, helping expand business opportunities and increase client income, while supporting women in gradually integrating into the global economy and achieving sustainable development.<\/p>\n
