As the demand for capital to support production and business activities continues to grow, especially in rural areas and among small household economies, increasing the loan limit has become a practical solution to help clients improve their livelihoods. TYM\u2019s adjustment of the maximum loan amount to VND 100 million per client not only enhances access to financial resources but also creates more opportunities for women to proactively invest and strengthen their household economy.<\/p>\n

Increasing the maximum loan limit to VND 100 million – Opportunities for women to expand production and business activities<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the current economic landscape, women\u2019s demand for loans to expand production and business activities is steadily increasing. Raising the maximum loan limit to VND 100 million provides clients with greater financial resources to scale up their businesses, confidently invest in higher value economic models, purchase goods in larger quantities to reduce input costs, and improve capital efficiency.<\/p>\n

In particular, the policy allows clients to maintain up to three active loans at the same time, with a total outstanding balance of up to VND 100 million. This offers greater flexibility in cash flow management and enables clients to meet multiple financial needs simultaneously.<\/p>\n

In addition to increasing the loan limit, TYM has developed a loan assessment approach based on the actual household income of clients, ensuring that loan amounts are aligned with repayment capacity and helping minimize financial risks. Loan terms of up to 36 months are available, with no collateral required, giving clients more time to invest, rotate capital, and stabilize their production and business activities.<\/p>\n

At the same time, loan procedures have been simplified, making it easier for women to access formal and safe financial services while reducing dependence on informal credit sources that may involve significant risks.<\/p>\n

From policy to practice<\/strong><\/p>\n

At many branches, the policy to increase the maximum loan limit has quickly delivered positive results, enabling women to invest with greater confidence, expand their business scale, and shift to more efficient production models. A notable example is Ms. Hoang Thi Binh from Thuong Du residential area, Nam Sam Son Ward, Thanh Hoa Province, who joined TYM in 2018. Previously, her family faced many financial difficulties due to limited capital, and their production activities remained small scale with unstable income.<\/p>\n

Starting with initial loans and receiving continuous support from TYM – Thanh Hoa Branch, Ms. Binh gradually gained experience and became more confident in developing her family economy. When the increased loan limit policy was introduced, she proactively accessed an unsecured loan of VND 75 million to expand her shrimp farming business, helping improve productivity and generate additional income for her family.<\/p>\n

Beyond improving her family\u2019s living conditions, Ms. Binh\u2019s model clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of the increased loan limit policy by providing women with sufficient resources to make structured investments, expand business scale, and improve production efficiency. From a household facing significant challenges, with TYM\u2019s long term support, she has gradually achieved economic independence, gained better opportunities to support her children\u2019s education, and improved her quality of life. Similarly, many other clients have used TYM loans to invest in larger scale livestock farming, crop cultivation, or local service businesses, contributing to job creation and sustainable income growth.<\/p>\n

Contributing to financial inclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n

Increasing the loan limit not only supports individual clients but also contributes to advancing financial inclusion by helping people, especially women, access formal financial services in a convenient and transparent manner. As of the end of April 2026, TYM had disbursed loans ranging from VND 50 million to VND 100 million to more than 6,300 clients, with total disbursement exceeding VND 560 billion for household economic development and investment purposes. TYM continues to affirm its role as a microfinance institution dedicated to the development of women and communities, supporting clients in strengthening their economic capacity, adapting to new development trends, and building stable and sustainable livelihoods.<\/p>\n
