\"\"Through the introduction of Rabobank Foundation, in preparation for the \u201cEuropean Microfinance Week 2016\u201d on 16 \u2013 18 November, the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP) ordered 200 dry tea packages made by TYM\u2019s members, which would be given to the conference\u2019sparticipants as small gifts.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

e-MFP is a network of approximately 120 organizations and individuals active in the microfinance sector. It was found formally in 2006 with its Head Office in Luxembourg. e-MFP aims to promote co-operation amongst European microfinance bodies by facilitating communication and the exchange of information.<\/span><\/p>\n

European Microfinance Week is the annual event hosted by e-MFP. With this year\u2019s conference, e-MFP contemplates to promote co-operation and effective microfinance practices through in-depth discussions by all sectors of the European microfinance community working in developing countries. The event welcomes over 400 top microfinance experts from dozens of countries to share ideas, initiatives and best practices.<\/span><\/p>\n

Introduced by Rabobank Foundation and aligned with the practical support for microfinance activities in general, e-MFP selected packaged dry tea products made by TYM\u2019s members in Thanh Son district, Phu Tho province to be given out as small gifts for the conference\u2019s participants. This event would help to introduce Vietnamese traditional dry tea to different international delegates.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of October 2016, with the support of TYM\u2019s BDS group (business developmentservicesgroup helping to introduce and find marketsfor products made by TYM\u2019s members), 200 tea packageswere packed and sentto e-MFP in Luxembourg. Upon receival, e-MFP sent very positive feedbacks on the quality and package design of the dry tea made by TYM\u2019s members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rabobank Foundation is TYM\u2019s longtime partner who has supported TYM in many areas. Currently, RabobankFoundationis funding TYM for the development of BDS including product branding, market access and connectivity, and among others.<\/span><\/p>\n
