TYM also helps to collect its members\u2019 savings which are sent daily, weekly or monthly and can be withdrawn at any time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Up to last year, TYM had handed out more than 1.3 million loans worth VN\u011010.6 trillion (US$495 million) to more than 144,000 clients. Its outstanding loans last year reached VN\u01101 trillion ($44 million).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Linh said that TYM had helped over 100,000 women escape poverty, and about 7,000 of them had become entrepreneurs, which had driven TYM\u2019s leaders to consider a project to improve the management skills of these emerging businesswomen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThey have real-life experiences but lack formal business knowledge,\u201d Linh said, adding that once they were equipped with the proper tools, they would be able to run their businesses more effectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ph\u1ea1m Th\u1ecb H\u1ed3ng, a TYM member from T\u0129nh Gia District in the central province of Thanh H\u00f3a, said that before attending TYM\u2019s training classes, she had never thought about creating a website or Facebook page to advertise her wooden furniture products.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nguy\u1ec5n Th\u1ecb An, a peanut oil producer from H\u01b0ng Nguy\u00ean District in the central province of Ngh\u1ec7 An, said that she liked the TYM training classes because she had learned more about customers, market prices and negotiations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe classes gave me the chance to meet and learn from other businesswomen.
