From April, 19th<\/sup>\u00a0to May 20th<\/sup>\u00a02015, TYM organized free medical examination for 5000 members who are poor, low-income and vulnerable women living in 48 districts of 12 provinces. This is the third year in succession that TYM has maintained the meaningful medical examination. It has benefited more than 17,000 women.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The aim of this program is supporting women to access prestigious health services with high quality, to have health check and examination so as to timely detect and prevent diseases, reduce life-threatening and financial risks towards enhancing the awareness about women health protection and care. Especially, poor, low-income, or vulnerable women living in mountainous region are given priority.<\/p>\n\n

This year, with the budget of over VND 1 billion, TYM arranged 45 locations for health examination for its members. At these locations, TYM\u2019s branches co-organized with prestigious health units such as polyclinics at district and province levels as well as specialty surgeries to offer health care package for women. For instance, general examination, ultrasound scan, gynecological examination \u2013 test for cervical cancer symptoms\u2026 with modern equipment and qualified doctor team capability. Members were not only examined, early detected diseases, especially gynecological ones but also received the enthusiastic and considerate consultancy and knowledge sharing about health protection and care from doctor team with high professional capacity as well as freely provided common drug.<\/p>\n\n

All in all, TYM members not only have chances to borrow loans and save from each small amount of money, receive family assistance and capacity building training, but also to participate in useful community activities, or be assisted in connection of their products to markets and business development\u2026 Besides, they are paid attention to have both good physical and mental health so they can continue with their family to develop the economy. With such a humanity meaning and purpose, during three years of implementing the program \u201cMember health care\u201d, TYM has been supported and highly appreciated by all members and local authorities, particularly Women\u2019s Unions at all levels. This is the driving force for TYM to purse and accomplish the organization\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n\n
