<\/b>The Monttainai 2014 was held at the Vietnam Women\u2019s Museum, 36 Ly Thuong Kiet, on 27th\u00a0<\/sup>September, 2014. It was organized by the Vietnam Women\u2019s Newspaper in collaboration with the Vietnam Women’s Museum and the Tinh Thuong Microfinance Institution (TYM). With the cross-cutting message of \u201cSending Love \u2013 Receiving Happiness\u201d, the Mottainai 2014 called for assistance, support and generosity and kindness of the community towards the children who were in disadvantaged and difficult circumstances but always endeavored for learning. At the festival, the organizers donated gifts directly to 10 children in exceptionally difficult circumstances whose mothers were TYM\u2019s members, and 100 underprivileged children of the Labor Education Center No.2, Ba Vi, Hanoi.<\/p>\n\n To contribute to the success of the festival, TYM\u2019s officers donated many usable items such as second-hand clothes, footwear etc. Especially, TYM established a small booth to sell the products made by TYM\u2019s members and officers in the festival. The booth not only contributed to introduce the products of TYM\u2019s member to the public but also raised funds as a contribution of all TYM\u2019s members and officers to send to the disadvantaged children. A total 1,040 coupons were collected, equivalent to a donation amount of VND 5,200,000.<\/p>\n\n The Mottainai festival with its meaning of \u201cGiving love, receiving happiness\u201d evoked the solidarity of the entire officers of the Vietnam Women\u2019s Union, the TYM, and the whole community.
