Mrs. Nguyen Thi Oanh has been working for TYM since December 2017. She is currently a TA officer at Do Luong Branch, Nghe An. In her 10-year working in TYM, she has been rotated through many locals: Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong.<\/em><\/h3>\n

In 2017, she was voted and recognized by other branch officers as \u201cthe best field officer of the year\u201d.<\/em><\/h3>\n<\/td>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In our visit to Mrs. Tuyen \u2013 TYM member in center no. 14, Do Luong Branch, she spoke feelingly to us about a kind officer of TYM \u2013 Mrs. Nguyen Thi Oanh, who is currently a technical officer working in Thanh Chuong area.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cSeveral months ago, due to a short-circuiting, my house was on fire. Only after a few minutes, the flame burnt down the whole house and everything that we had been saving. We were not wealthy and the house that sheltered us from severe weather was all we\u2019d got. Losing the house, we suddenly became homeless. We had been working so hard but then all our effort went down in the drain. We didn\u2019t know who to count on as most people around us were also in difficulty and had their own burden; our children were both working from afar and not being able to provide us back home. After the fire, our health also turned bad; we got depressed and lost all hope in our future.\u201d said Mrs. Tuyen<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fortunately, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Oanh, the officer in charge of Mrs. Tuyen center, had noticed. She paid the member\u2019s family a visit and timely encouragement to them. Mrs. Oanh spread her words and shared the story to mobilize support to Mrs. Tuyen\u2019s family. Thanks to her effort, many people in the neighborhood as well as the neighboring village donated to support Mrs. Tuyen, from household appliances to clothing to wear. Mrs. Oanh herself also devoted a part of her own money to help Mrs. Tuyen\u2019s family to cover their life in times of misery. Her assisstance and encouragement had become a firm support for Mrs. Tuyen to overcome difficulties, which motivated her and gave hope of a bright future. By now, her family has had a more stable life. Mrs. Tuyen and her husband has been working hard day and night. Their hard working, along with the help from friends and family, provided them with the money they need to buy a new house. Leaving Mrs. Tuyen house, I couldn\u2019t help thinking of the TYM officer that is loved very much by her members \u2013 Mrs. Nguyen Thi Oanh.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mrs. Oanh lives far from her branch; everyday she has to travel over 100 kilometers to work and back home. Even a man with good health can be deterred by this long way to work, let alone a small, slender and weak woman. Despite the distance and the extreme weather, Mrs. Oanh is always on time serving members in villages and communes. Even when the rain pours or the sun burns, she still pays her members a visit with loan profiles so that they can get their loan timely. Sometimes, even when she\u2019s down with illness, once she receives a phone call, Mrs. Oanh will come to members\u2019 houses for procedures, serve members considerately.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 For this reason, no matter where she goes, Mrs. Oanh always gets a warm welcome; she is trusted and loved by members and the local people. Moreover, in work, she has always been in the leading board at her branch in meeting targets and plans that were set in gaining members, loan disbursement and savings mobilization. In addition, she actively takes part in community activities and movements in culture, arts and sports held by the branch. Not only is she good at her job but she is a wonderful housewife as well. As her husband is serving the military and away from home, Mrs. Oanh takes care of the family business and raises two beautiful children on her own. Her family has also become a role model for us to learn from.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To my point of view, nothing is more precious in life than having a chance to live and work with such enthusiastic and dedicated people, from whom we can learn to improve ourselves. Mrs. Oanh is not only a good co-worker of ours, but also a close sister to us, in whom we can always confide, both in work and in life.<\/p>\n
