On October 1, 2013, during the fair \u2018Women\u2019s Innovation Day\u2019. Ms. Victoria Kwakwa \u2013 the Director of World Bank Vietnam visited, made purchases and talked with women \u2013 active borrowers ofTYM.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Women\u2019s Innovation Day is held by Vietnam\u2019s Women Union (VWU) every 2 year with the target: \u201cTo honor, encourage and promote initiatives to empower and enhance economic capacity of Vietnamese women.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n

This year, under the theme \u201cWomen\u2019s Economic Empowerment\u201d, besides activities to honor intellectual achievements of women, the Central Vietnam Women Union also set up demonstration boothes to introduce, promote and sell products made by women coming from different parts of the country at Vietnam Women Museum from September 27 to October 6, 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

On this occasion, TYM brought special agricultural items produced by skillful hands of our hard \u2013 working and strong-willed members. Those items are essential goods, suitable for people\u2019s daily life, produced with high quality and satisfying food safety standards, such as: Hai Hau rice, Hung Yen vermicelli, Hung Nguyen raw peanut oil, etc. Products made by TYM\u2019s clients are purchased and highly appreciated by visitors and consumers.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

During the fair, TYM\u2019s members were honoured to receive and to talk with Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa \u2013 the President of Vietnam Women Union and Mrs. Victoria Kwakwa \u2013 the Director of the World Bank (WB) Office in Hanoi. Also at the demonstration booth of TYM, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa was very proud to advise Mrs. Victoria Kwakwa about successful loan model of TYM in particular, and other meaningful supporting programs by the Central Vietnam Women Union targeted at women, especially poor and disadvantaged women, in general. After attentively listening to this introduction, Mrs. Victoria Kwakwa expressed her impression about TYM\u2019s achievements. She also had a high opinion of the help and support TYM gave to women while listening to their daily stories. She encouraged them to strive continuously for innovation, to apply advanced technical methods in cattle \u2013 breeding and manufacturing, to facilitate their children\u2019s education, aiming for amore equal, better \u2013 off and happier life. Especially, she was very impressed by various practical supporting activities for women that have been implemented by the Central Vietnam Women Union.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

At the end of the conversation, Mrs. Victoria Kwakwa did not forget to buy special but familiar agricultural products made by TYM\u2019s members.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
