Mrs. Suc started to become loan officer of TYM in 1994 and is now one of the oldest staffs of TYM. Talking with her, the deepest impression is her commitment, enthusiasm at work, which makes her colleagues and client members love her.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In the morning and in the afternoon on the familiar Highway 18 from Soc Son district – Hanoi to Yen Phong town – Bac Ninh, everyone caught sight of the appearance of a sincere, calm woman riding an old motorbike. The woman is Mrs. Tran Thi Suc, a native of Phu Xa Dong village, Phu Minh commune, Soc Son district, Hanoi.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Suc started to become loan officer of TYM in 1994 and is now one of the oldest staffs of TYM. Talking with her, the deepest impression is her commitment, enthusiasm at work, which makes her colleagues and client members love her.<\/p>\n

Recalling those early days, everyone at TYM had to learn by heart which was the roads, TYM\u2019s members\u2019 homes and TYM\u2019s members. At that time, motorbikes did not yet exist. Every day, she rode a bicycle to every corner to capture the characteristics of each member. She memorized the alleys, the houses and family situations of 300 members, which is a big number of clients at that time. Members felt comfortable to share their feelings and hardship with Mrs. Suc as if Mrs. Suc is one of their family members.<\/p>\n

It must be added that Soc Son is the first branch of TYM, so many difficulties and hardships have come to this pioneer branch. At that time, many TYM policies were too strange and new not only for the people but also for the local authorities and the Vietnam Women’s Union. Mrs. Suc always works closely with the Branch Management Board and the staff to discuss ways to overcome difficult problems. Mrs. Suc sometimes had to work overtime and even on Saturday and Sunday, but she still managed to take good care of her children and her housework. Because of her enthusiasm for the profession of microfinance, with the development to improve the economic life of her family, she did not mind harsh weather conditions, over time work to communicate with potential new client members and the leaders to understand microfinance and how microfinance can help women improve their life. In doing so, these women will join TYM and also helped to mobilize more women to join TYM.<\/p>\n

With much affection and trust from her colleagues, in March 2009, Mrs. Suc was assigned to hold the position of Head of Yen Phong – Bac Ninh branch. In January 2011, when TYM became a microfinance institution licensed by the State Bank, she took the role of Head of Transaction Office 01, Bac Ninh branch. With her own efforts, in 1999, she was honored to be awarded a medal “For the advancement \/ development of women” by the Central Vietnam Women’s Union. In 2009, she was also honored with the Citi – Vietnam Outstanding Credit Officer. During my working days at Transaction Office 01 Bac Ninh Branch, I was fortunate to work with Mrs. Suc, I learned from her own personality, which is the virtue of perseverance and patience. She never gives up when she faces difficulties and steadfastly moves forward.<\/p>\n

Exemplary in her work and fulfilling in her family life, she is still affectionately referred to by the TYM staff as \u201cskilled at work, good at housework.\u201d And day after day, the woman is still working hard on familiar paths for the strong development of TYM.<\/p>\n
