On June 18, 2020, in Cat Tien district, Lam Dong province, TYM’s General Director attended the handover ceremony of the “Subsidized homes” to 03 families of poor women members in the area. These are 3 of the 20 families that were awarded with \u201csubsidized homes\u201d at the end of 2019 within the framework of a joint program between TYM and the Family – Society Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attending the ceremony were the presence of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien – Member of the Presidium of Vietnam Women’s Union, General Director of TYM, Ms. Ho Thu Nguyet – Vice Chairwoman of Lam Dong Women’s Union. From the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, there were Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh – District Commissioner and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Cat Tien District.<\/p>\n

The three poor women members that TYM has handed over “Subsidized homes” in Cat Tien district, Lam Dong province are: Ms. Ka Nghi (Buon Go village, Cat Tien town), Ms. Tran Thi Lua (village 4, Tien Hoang commune) and Ms. Phan Thi Su (Lien Phuong village, Gia Vien commune). For each “subsidized home,” TYM donated VND 50 million. This is the first time TYM has provided support to build “subsided homes” for poor women members in provinces outside TYM’s operation areas such as Dak Lak, Vinh Long and Lam Dong. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh – District member, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cat Tien district expressed his appreciation to the Vietnam Women’s Union and especially to TYM for taking meaningful and practical support to the poor women in the locality.<\/p>\n
