Under a solemn atmosphere, TYM successfully hosted the opening ceremony of Quynh Luu branch in Nghe An province in the morning of 10 March 2016.
Attending the ceremony there were Mrs. Duong Thi Ngoc Linh – Member of the Presidium of the Central VWU cum General Director of TYM, Mr. Phung Dinh Kien – Head of Research and Communication Department of TYM, Mr. Ho Ngoc Dung – Member of the district Party Committee cum Vice Chairman of Quynh Luu DPC, chairwomen of WUs of Thai Hoa, Hoang Mai towns and Quynh Luu district Managment Board of all TYM branches in Nghe An province, representatives of the TYM HO officers and all Quynh Luu branch’s staff.
In 2009, to meet the needs of the local communities, TYM has established Dien Chau branch covering 2 districts of Dien Chau and Quynh Luu. The branch has been working to support women to develop their economies as well as to improve their capacities. Highly welcome and appreciated by women and local authorities, the branch has continued to expand its operations to Hoang Mai and Thai Hoa towns.
In 2016, with the potential development and growth in these areas, the State Bank of Nghe An province has approved the separation of Quynh Luu district, Hoang Mai and Thai Hoa towns from Dien Chau branch to become Quynh Luu branch.
At the ceremony, Mrs. Duong Thi Ngoc Linh congratulated and offered flowers to the branch for its boom step in attracting members and its effort in meeting the licensing procedures and regulations of the State Bank to become the 20th branch of TYM and the first branch licensed in 2016. She also sent profound thanks to leaders of WUs at all levels as well as local authorities of Quynh Luu district, Hoang Mai and Thai Hoa towns for their interest in and facilitation for TYM’s activities.
Quynh Luu branch is the 5th branch of TYM opened in Nghe An province. The others include Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Do Luong and Dien Chau.
