Tinh Thuong One-member Limited Liability Microfinance Institution (TYM) is a unit under the Central Vietnam Women’s Union. Formerly known as the Affectionate Fund, TYM was established in 1992. From an initial project, TYM has demonstrated its operational effectiveness and was licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam to become an official microfinance institution in 2010. Over more than three decades, TYM has continuously expanded its scale, diversified its services, and accompanied women and poor, disadvantaged, and low-income households on their journey toward sustainable poverty reduction, improving quality of life and enhancing the status of women in the family, community, and society.
With its practical and persistent contributions, TYM has made an important contribution to fulfilling the tasks assigned by the Vietnam Women’s Union, namely supporting women’s economic development, poverty reduction, and the promotion of gender equality; at the same time, it has affirmed its position as one of the largest and most reputable microfinance institutions in Vietnam.
