Soc Son Branch Organizes Competitions On The Occasion Of TYM’s 25th Anniversary
TYM – Soc Son branch in collaboration with the local district Women’s Union held a contest to learn about Soc Son and TYM on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the founding of Soc Soc district and TYM’s 25th anniversary.
The preliminary round of the competition was held from August 5 to August 27 in 15 communes with the participation of 112 TYM members. This was an opportunity not only to provide information and knowledge about Soc Son and TYM but also to exchange and participate in cultural and artistic activities during leisure time. The contest consisted of three parts: greetings, knowledge quiz and a talent quest. Throughout the event, participants showed their creativity and talent when ingeniously integrating information about TYM and Soc Son district into songs, dances, and plays.At the end of the preliminary round, the organizers selected 11 teams from 15 communes as finalists for the final round of the competition in September. The preliminary rounds held in the communes took place in a very lively and cheerful atmosphere. Many members shared that this is one of the rare occasions where they have the opportunity to participate in community activities. They all want TYM to organize more meaningful competitions for women in their district.
The contests are not only for team members but it also attracted hundreds of members of the Women’s Union and received enthusiastic support and appreciation from the local government. TYM hopes that such activities will be a source of spiritual encouragement, sisterhoods and solidarity between members of the Vietnam Women’s Union.
