On 18 November 2015, TYM Do Luong Branch organized successfully the launching ceremony of a new outlet in Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province. It was in line with its expansion plan of 2015.
Attending the ceremony there were Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Linh – Member of the Presidium of VWU, General Director of TYM, Mr. Phung Dinh Kien – Head of Research – Communication Department, Ms. Le Thi Huong Giang – Vice President of Nghe An Province Women’s Union, Mr. Nguyen Huu Vinh – Secretary of the District Party Committee and other local authorities. There were also officers of the TYM’s head office and Do Luong Branch in the ceremony.
Thanh Chuong is a district located in the southwestern of Nghe An province, 45km far from Vinh city; bordered by Bolikhamxay province of Laos to the southwest, Anh Son district to the Northwest, Nam Dan district to the east, Do Luong district to the northeast, and Huong Son district (Ha Tinh province) to the south. The district covers an area of over 1128 km2 with 40 communes and towns, a total population of 252 459 people. Thanh Chuong has long been renowned with the tradition of academic excellence, and hardworking and diligent people. According to the market research results, it showed that the local people had demand for loans and desired to participate TYM for economic development, capacity building and improvement of their positions in the society.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Linh congratulated the branch on its efforts during the past time for the successful opening of the new outlet. She also expressed profound thanks to authorities of Thanh Chuong district, particularly the local Women’s Union for their interests and support to TYM’s activities. During the course of ceremony, the participants proposed many suggestions for the development of the new outlet in the district.
In addition to the Thanh Chuong outlet, TYM has also planed to launch an additional new area in An Thi district – TYM Kim Dong Branch, in Hung Yen province during the 4th quarter of 2015.
Do Luong Branch
