25/11/2024

From October 21 to 26, 2024, TYM organized a delegation to learn about the practical experience of human resource management of CARD MRI in the Philippines and participate in the Financial Inclusion Workshop in Laos.

During the visit and work at CARD, the delegation was introduced to an overview of the history of formation and development of CARD MRI, the organizational chart of CARD MRI, and the products and services that CARD MRI is serving customers. CARD MRI was established in 1986, with only 20 pesos and an old typewriter. After 38 years, CARD MRI has developed and expanded with 25 mutual support organizations, operating for a common goal and mission of poverty reduction.

Through the exchange process, the delegation recognized the professionalism and modernity in human resource management of CARD MRI. Currently, this organization has 30 human resources officers, managing more than 19,000 employees in the entire organization with modern human resource management software. The delegation was introduced, discussed and learned about the criteria, management standards, assessment tools, salary and bonus regimes and human resource regulations and processes of CARD MRI. In addition, the delegation also had the opportunity to visit the offices and product showrooms of CARD members, helping to get closer to the practical activities of this organization in supporting members to develop the economy and improve their lives.

According to the working program, the delegation also visited the international office of CARD MRI in Laos, met and worked with the microfinance organization SMFI here and participated in a workshop on financial inclusion. The delegates introduced the history of formation and development, achievements, shared experiences in the process of operation, initiatives to promote comprehensive financial development, as well as microfinance activities in the two countries.

The trip was not only an opportunity to learn international experiences in human resource management, but also helped TYM connect and expand cooperation with organizations that share the same social goals and sustainable development.
