On the morning of September 26, 2024, TYM – Viet Tri branch, Phu Tho coordinated with the Women’s Union of Yen Lap district to present a subsidized home, a new rural project in Yen Lap district, Phu Tho province.
Attending the handover ceremony were Madame Dinh Thi Thu Huong, Vice President of the Women’s Union of Phu Tho province, leaders of the Women’s Union of Yen Lap district, leaders of the Party Committee, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Lap town and Xuan Vien commune.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang’s family is a poor household in Mit area, Yen Lap town. For many years, her family has lived in a house thatched with palm leaves, which is unsafe and at risk of collapsing at any time. Given the family’s difficult circumstances, TYM has supported 40 million VND to help the family have more funds to build a new house that is more solid and spacious.
At the handover ceremony, Ms. Hang was happy, excited, and grateful for the support of TYM, the Provincial and District Women’s Union, local authorities at all levels, and the hearts of all people in the residential area who helped her family quickly build a new house to stabilize their lives and develop the economy. This is also the 14th subsidized house that the branch has supported women in recent years in Phu Tho province.
On the same day, TYM – Viet Tri Branch, Phu Tho donated a TV worth 15 million VND to Xuan Vien Kindergarten, Yen Lap District to serve the teaching and learning activities of the school. The support activity is an annual program that TYM carries out to accompany local authorities in building New Rural Areas.
