As part of the “Climate Risk Financing Initiative for the Agriculture Sector in ASEAN” (AgriCRF ASEAN) project, on September 13, 2025, TYM organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) course on the implementation of Green Loan in Thanh Hoa Province.
“This course aims to train key trainers at TYM branches. Upon completion, these trainers will directly deliver knowledge and skills to all remaining staff members in their respective branches,” the organizers shared.
The course brought together more than 50 TYM staff members from branches and the head office, including branch directors, deputy directors, transaction office heads and deputy heads, technical officers, and treasurers.
The one-day training was conducted by experts from the National Economics University.
The program provided practical and valuable knowledge, helping TYM staff to:
- Master the legal framework and classification of green loans;
- Understand the processes and methods for implementing and managing green loan products;
- Enhance their training capacity at the branch level, creating a foundation for system-wide replication.
After this TOT program, trained staff from the branches will continue to train other employees within their units. Once the workforce becomes proficient in the regulations and procedures of the Green Loan product, TYM will officially launch the product across its entire system.
With the knowledge and skills gained from the course, TYM staff will be well-prepared to effectively implement the Green Loan product at their branches.
This product is part of TYM’s new product development strategy, reaffirming its commitment to accompanying clients and communities in promoting sustainable economic development and adapting to climate change.
