Mr. Phung Dinh Kien, Deputy General Director of TYM, presents the report on first-half performance in 2026.

In the first half of the year, following the orientations of the Vietnam Women’s Union and the State Bank of Vietnam and TYM’s 2026 business plan, TYM continued to implement coordinated measures to maintain safe, efficient and sustainable growth.

As of 30 June 2026, TYM was operating in 9,813 villages across 500 communes in 10 provinces and cities, through 23 branches and 50 transaction offices, serving 228,950 clients and reaching 100.74% of its plan.

In lending operations, TYM promptly adjusted its credit policies to comply with new regulations, continued to accelerate disbursement, introduced a green-practice credit product and gradually digitalized the lending process. During the first six months, TYM disbursed 57,651 loans with a total value of more than VND 2.781 trillion. Total outstanding loans exceeded VND 3.529 trillion, reaching 112.4% of plan, while the overdue loan ratio stood at 0.0038%.

Savings mobilization also continued to perform effectively. By 30 June 2026, total deposits exceeded VND 2.771 trillion, equivalent to 102.5% of plan.

Digital transformation remained a key focus, contributing to improved service quality and management efficiency. TYM provided AI application training to 100% of its staff and organized 18 digital-skills training courses for 521 clients. During the first half of the year, the TYM Mobile application had 142,647 accounts across the system, up 14% from the end of 2025. Nearly 62.2% of clients were using TYM Mobile, equivalent to almost 105% of plan. At the same time, the number of clients using cashless transactions reached 134,952, an increase of 13,726 from the end of 2025.

Alongside its financial activities, TYM actively implemented social welfare programmes supporting women and communities. In the first six months, TYM visited and presented gifts to 37 members and clients facing difficult circumstances; provided free health check-ups to 1,318 clients at branches; continued to accompany and support 19 orphans under the “Godmother” programme; and organized training, capacity-building and learning activities on successful economic models for more than 3,462 members and clients. TYM also actively responded to and participated in campaigns launched by the Central Vietnam Women’s Union, helping extend social welfare activities and support women and children in difficult circumstances.

Notably, 320 TYM clients stood as candidates in elections to People’s Councils at different levels, of whom 273 were elected, reflecting women’s increasingly visible role in social and public life.

The conference also heard a report on preparations for launching insurance agency operations at TYM. During the first six months of 2026, TYM researched and assessed potential cooperation arrangements with insurance companies and worked to review and refine insurance product options suited to clients and legal requirements. In parallel, TYM continued to develop operational procedures, upgrade its information technology systems and train staff in preparation for implementation.

Mr. Luu Van Thang, Officer Acting as Deputy Head of the Credit and Development Department, presents the update on insurance operations.

Delegates at the different meeting locations discussed the results achieved and the difficulties encountered in implementation, shared experience and proposed solutions to meet TYM’s 2026 targets. Discussions focused on credit growth alongside credit quality control; client development and network expansion; stronger savings mobilization; digital transformation and increased use of TYM Mobile; higher labour productivity and service quality; and stronger risk management.
