On the morning of March 25, 2023 in Duong Kinh district, Tinh Thuong Microfinance Organization, Hai Phong Branch (hereinafter referred to as TYM – Hai Phong Branch) successfully held a conference to open Transaction Office No. 2.
The conference had the presence of Ms. Do Thi Thu Thao, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Women’s Union, Chairwoman of TYM’s Board of Members, Ms. Vu Thi Kim Lien, Member of Party of Hai Phong, Chairwoman of Hai Phong’s Vietnam Women’s Union; Mr. Dao Van Ninh, Member of Party of Hai Phong, Party Secretary of Duong Kinh district and Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet Nhung, Deputy General Director of TYM and representatives of local authorities and departments.
The conference listened to the presentation of the representative of TYM, Hai Phong branch to introduce the organization’s activities, especially highlighting the impact of TYM on women in the area, on the work of VWU in the area where TYM operates.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Do Thi Thu Thao, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Women’s Union, Chairwoman of the TYM’s Board of Members affirmed that TYM is a tool to carry out the political tasks of the Vietnam Women’s Union and suggested the main local authorities create conditions for TYM to deploy activities in the area, and at the same time direct the Vietnam Women’s Union at all levels to closely coordinate with TYM.
On this occasion, TYM also presented 18 gifts to poor women members in Duong Kinh district.
Also on this occasion, on the morning of March 27, 2023, TYM Hai Phong branch continued to organize the opening of Transaction Office No. 03 in Tien Lang district and presented 22 gifts to members with difficulties.
After more than 5 years of operation in Hai Phong city, TYM has been present in districts: Thuy Nguyen, An Lao, Kien Thuy, Vinh Bao, Duong Kinh, Tien Lang and served more than 5,400 women. In Hai Phong city, TYM supported more than 12,000 times of women to avail loans with loan outstanding of over 118 billion VND.
