Implementing the operation plan for 2023, in April, TYM – Nam Truc Branch collaborated with the Women’s Union of Nam Truc district (Nam Dinh), and the Social Insurance of Nam Truc district to organize a seminar on “Introduction of new regulations on the Law on Voluntary Social Insurance (HI) and Health Insurance in 2023” for 100 TYM members in Nam Hong and Nam Tien communes.
The seminar was organized to raise awareness of TYM members about voluntary social insurance and health insurance policies, thereby helping them realize the benefits of and encouraging them and their families to register and participate in voluntary social insurance and health insurance to ensure social security. The seminar focused on clarifying new regulations applied from 2023 such as: payment conditions, payment rates, procedures for participating in voluntary social insurance; adding Covid-19 disease to the list of occupational diseases entitled to social insurance; increasing the coefficient of social insurance slippage in 2023; amending cases of enjoying lump-sum social insurance; increasing pension and social insurance allowance from July 1, 2023; increasing the retirement age in 2023; benefits when participating in health insurance for 5 consecutive years from July 1, 2023; decision no. 3618/QD-BHXH on new regulations on the process of assessment of health insurance; no requirement to bring household registration book when receiving health insurance cards for relatives; people could buy health insurance cards online on the national public service portal.
Through the seminar, TYM members understood more about the new regulations on voluntary social insurance and health insurance, especially about the benefits of insurance for themselves and their families.
In addition, on April 24, 2023, TYM – Nam Truc Branch handed over TYM’s support to Nam Hai Kindergarten (Nam Truc District) to purchase equipment for teaching and caring for children at the school. This has contributed to the implementation of the Advanced New Rural Development criteria according to Decision 318/QD-TTg dated March 8, 2022 of the Prime Minister, which was highly appreciated by the leaders of the Standing Party Committee and the People’s Committee of Nam Hai commune.
