On March 6, 2019, in the Square of Ly Thai To Monument (Hoàn Kiếm – Hà Nội), the Vietnam Women’s Union launched the ceremony “THE SAFETY YEAR FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN. Being a member of the Vietnam Women’s Union and always accompanying and implementing the mission of supporting women, TYM has introduced our exhibition space with the theme: “ENABLING WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES TO GET SECURED ACCESS TO FINANCIAL SERVICES” to the delegates and guests.
Attending the launching ceremony were the presence of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Head of the Central Commission for Public Relations Truong Thi Mai; leaders of ministries, departments, branches, Fatherland Front and central mass organizations; leaders of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) and leaders of departments and units of the VWU; the Women’s Union of 20 neighboring provinces; representatives of a number of diplomatic agencies, international organizations and non-governmental organizations; representatives of women and children of the capital Hanoi. The two ambassadors of the program are Vietnam Miss Universe 2017 H’Hen Niê and Actor Quyen Linh.
At this launching ceremony, TYM participated in the exhibition with the theme: “ENABLING WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES TO GET SECURED ACCESS TO FINANCIAL SERVICES
The display space is consisted of pictures and stories of TYM members/ customers who have been approached not only with financial services (loans, savings) but also social services support. The stories of their lives or the products they make are displayed as the best proof of the effectiveness of the services provided by TYM. In order to support women, especially weak disadvantaged women, to proactively ensure safety and financial sustainability for themselves and their families, TYM implements support for members in parallel: 1) improve knowledge and capacity of financial management and 2) facilitating access to safe and appropriate financial services.
