Dinh Thi Phuong, A remarkable role model: From perseverance to spreading compassion in the community

Ms. Dinh Thi Phuong, a TYM client of Center 55, is not only a dedicated Women’s Union branch leader but also a remarkable example of a strong, resilient woman who is wholeheartedly committed to her community. Her journey of economic development, together with the support of TYM, has become a truly inspiring story in the local area.

In the movement of women’s economic development and community building, Ms. Phuong, as the head of the village Women’s Union Branch and an outstanding TYM client, has made many meaningful contributions. Starting with the simple desire to improve her family’s economic situation, she boldly accessed a loan from TYM Soc Son Branch in 2014 with an initial amount of VND 30 million. To date, she has increased her loan amount to VND 100 million to expand her business activities.

Using the loan effectively, she chose to develop a home-based healthcare service model. Never discouraged by challenges, she has persistently managed and rotated her capital while flexibly adjusting her business operations to meet market demand, especially in the context of digital transformation. Thanks to her sharp business sense and determination, she successfully built her own brand, “Than khoe – Tam an”, generating stable income and gradually improving her family’s quality of life.

Beyond developing her own business, Ms. Phuong also serves as an active bridge between TYM and local women members. In her role as Women’s Union branch leader, she continuously works alongside the organization to support agricultural product consumption, helping women feel secure in production and economic development. Her practical contributions have strengthened solidarity and trust within the community.

One of her most outstanding qualities is her spirit of sharing and compassion. She actively participates in voluntary blood donation activities and also applies her knowledge of traditional medicine to support women in improving their health, helping them feel confident in working and production activities. In addition, she willingly shares her experience, provides vocational guidance, and creates opportunities for many women to develop livelihoods, increase income, and gradually stabilize their lives.

A significant milestone in her journey was her participation in the “My Business” training program organized by TYM in 2024, where she won First Prize and received an award of VND 10 million. After completing the program, she became a pioneer in transforming her business model while also guiding local members and TYM clients to apply digital transformation knowledge in practice, contributing to improved economic efficiency in the community.

Ms. Phuong shared that what she values most about joining TYM is access to safe, timely, and suitable financial services. Thanks to TYM, she no longer has to seek external loans that may involve significant risks.
