The COVID-19 pandemic from the beginning of 2020 has been having strong impacts not only in the country but also in the world. As of April 3, 2020, the world has more than 1 million infected people. In Vietnam COVID-19 has caused significant impacts on public health, economy, society and many other areas of life.
Since February 2020, when the COVID-19 epidemic situation has been continuously complicated, TYM has taken many measures to limit the spread of the disease, minimize risks for TYM members and staff, and at the same time, together with the community fight the COVID-19 epidemic.
Accordingly, TYM staffs in Head Office, Branches and Transaction offices have actively donated at least one day’s salary, facial masks, hand sanitizers to support the government to fight the virus, in response to the call “All people support the prevention and control of COVID-19.”
At the same time, TYM also made adjustments to its operations. We want to ensure that staff communicates with clients about disease prevention and takes necessary measures to contain the virus. TYM also developed different scenarios to be ready to respond to the epidemic. Due to the characteristics of the work of TYM staff that have to contact with many people at different places, TYM has provided protective equipment for its staff. Many TYM offices in provinces are actively providing disinfectants hand sanitizers at transaction points and giving free masks to TYM’s members to ensure safety for members and staff.
In the coming time, TYM continues to research and adjust operations, products and strengthen solutions to maximize support for members and clients to maintain the sustainability of the organization. “No one is left behind” – that is the general direction of the Party and State leaders and also a guideline in TYM’s activities.
